1005: Payment Method Invalid
What This Means
The saved payment method on the Scheduled Order is invalid or unusable, so the payment could not be completed. Because the stored payment method itself is the problem, QPilot does not automatically retry this Scheduled Order — it needs a valid payment method before processing can succeed.
Common Causes For This Error
- The stored card or payment token is malformed, incomplete, or was removed at the payment gateway.
- The payment method was replaced or deleted, but the Scheduled Order still references the old one.
Suggested Next Steps
- Ask the Customer to update or re-enter their payment method so that a valid, current payment method is saved to their Scheduled Order.
- Confirm that your payment integration is connected and that the saved payment method on the Scheduled Order is valid for your QPilot Site.
After Resolving The Issue
Once this issue is resolved, you should use the action to Restart Processing the Failed Scheduled Order.
