What This Means
This happens when the Scheduled Order subtotal is $0 and the shipping rate is greater than $0. This limitation is with the PayPal gateway itself, as it does not accept Item Totals of $0.
Common Causes For This Error
- Coupons reducing the Scheduled Order subtotal to $0 when a shipping rate of more than $0 is applied
Suggested Next Steps
This Scheduled Order may be successfully processed, however you will need to edit the Scheduled Order. You may choose one of the following actions:
- Process the Scheduled Order with another payment gateway (for example: Braintree)
- Any Coupons attached reducing the Subtotal to $0 will have to be edited to ensure the Subtotal is above $0
- The shipping rate will have to be reduced to $0 (no charge made to customer)
After Resolving The Issue
Once this issue is resolved, you should use the action to Restart Processing the Failed Scheduled Order.
