# "How To" Shipping Examples

The following examples outline different Flat Rate Shipping Rates created for a particular result (such as free shipping). These shipping rates can be created and managed in the *[QPilot Merchant Center ](https://merchants.qpilot.cloud/login) Dashboard >> Site Settings >> Shipping Rates >> Create new* (blue + icon).

### Free Shipping for all Scheduled Orders

* Name: Free Shipping
* Base Price: "0"

### Free Shipping for Scheduled Orders over $100

* Name: "Free Shipping"
* Base Price: "0"
* Min Subtotal: "100"

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Free Shipping" that applies a 0.00 cost Shipping Rate when a Scheduled Order's subtotal is over 100.00

### Free Shipping for Scheduled Orders over $100 Only Within a Specific Country

* Name: "Free Shipping"
* Base Price: "0"
* Min Subtotal: "100"
* Country: "US | USA"

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Free Shipping" that applies a 0.00 cost Shipping Rate when a Scheduled Order's subtotal is over 100.00 and has a Shipping Address within the US.

### Free Shipping for Scheduled Orders Within A Specific Country That Have Processed At Least 3 Times

* Name: "Free Shipping"
* Base Price: "0"
* Min Subtotal: "100"
* Country: "US | USA"
* Min cycles: "3"

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Free Shipping" that applies a 0.00 cost Shipping Rate when a Scheduled Order's subtotal is over 100.00, has a Shipping Address within the US, and has already processed 3 times.

### Free Shipping Rate for Orders over $30 within a Country - Multiple Item Shipping Classes

1. Create a new Shipping Rate (for each item with a shipping class you want to meet the Minimum \[Scheduled Order] Subtotal condition) and give it a name (for example, "Large ", "Small", etc.) within QPilot Merchant Center > Dashboard >> Shipping Rates\*\*.\*\*

2. Enter the shipping class that matches the "slug" of the shipping class for the Product (for example: small/large)

3. For the Country, select a specific value like: "US | USA"

4. For Minimum Subtotal enter the subtotal the Scheduled Order must meet for free shipping

**Result:** Though neither item on the Scheduled Order (below) meets the $30 minimum subtotal alone, the Scheduled Order would receive free shipping because it meets the shipping class of both items and the Minimum Subtotal condition for the Scheduled Order ($30).

### Flat Rate for "Heavy" Items Shipped within a Country

* Name: "Oversized Flat Rate"
* Base Price: "49"
* Country: "US | USA"
* Weight Restrictions:
  * For Min Weight, enter a value (for example "75.00")
  * For Unit of Weight, enter a unit of measurement for the weight (for example "Pound")

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Oversized Flat Rate" that applies a 49.00 cost Shipping Rate to ship any package that weighs 75 Pounds or more to a Shipping Address within the US.

### Flat Rate for "Heavy" Items Shipped within a Country - Applied by Shipping Class

1. Name: "Large Item Shipping"
2. Base Price: "49"
3. Shipping Class:
   a. Enter a shipping class that matches the "slug" of the product shipping class for the
4. Product (for example: "large-items")
5. Country: "US | USA"
6. Weight Restrictions:
   a. For Min Weight, enter a value (for example "75.00")
   a. For Unit of Weight, enter a unit of measurement for weight (for example "Pound")

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Oversized Item Shipping" that applies a 49.00 cost Shipping Rate to ship any package that weighs 75 pounds or more to a Shipping Address within the US.

### Flat Rate for "Large" Items Shipped within a Country - Applied by Shipping Class

1. Create a new Shipping Rate and give it a name (for example, "Large") within *QPilot Merchant Center > Dashboard > Shipping Rates.*
2. Enter the shipping class that matches the "slug" of the shipping class for the Product (for example, "large-items")
3. For the Base Price of the Shipping Rate, enter a value (for example "49.00").
4. For the Country, select a specific value like: "US | USA"

**Result:** Shipping Rate named "Large" that applies a 49.00 price only when a product within a Scheduled Order has the class "large-items" and has a Shipping Address within the US.
